Sustainable horticulture from plant to product: "Challenges in temperate climate"
The conference aim is to bring together the latest advances in research on the climate change challenges and other issues in temperate horticulture and to provide an opportunity for exchange information and ideas and stimulate joint research and collaboration.

Important dates:
- July 1, 2021 – Registration and submission of abstracts
- July 15, 2021 - Acceptance notification for authors
- August 15, 2021 – Late registrations (includes participation in a conference without presentation)
- August 26, 2021 – Submission of manuscripts for publication in Proceedings of the Latvian Academy of Sciences
Conference Fees: Participation in the conference is free of charge
The conference included three types of presentations:
- Oral presentations - invited key-note speaker presentations (40 minutes + 5 minutes for questions); ordinary oral presentations (15 minutes + 5 minutes for questions)
- Flash poster presentations – includes placing the poster during the conference on the website and a short (2 minutes, 2 slides) presentation of it during the poster session
- Poster presentations - includes placing the poster during the conference on the website
Note: The Committee will review all submitted abstracts. Notification regarding abstract acceptance and scheduling will be sent to the submitting author. The Organizers reserve the right to change the submitted presentation type.
All submitted and accepted abstracts are compiled in the conference proceedings e-book and published on the conference website.

Publications:
- Submitted manuscripts will be peer-reviewed by international experts, and selected papers are planned to be published in a special issue of Proceedings of the Latvian Academy of Sciences. Section B. Natural, Exact, and Applied Sciences (https://sciendo.com/journal/PROLAS). Manuscripts should be prepared according to the rules of the journal.
- Please indicate in the registration form if you will be willing to submit your paper for peer-reviewing and publication in Proceedings of the Latvian Academy of Sciences.
- All manuscripts must be submitted electronically, until August 26, 2021, to gunars.lacis@llu.lv
