Project aim: to evaluate and demonstrate for farmers and other growers the adaptability of strawberry and/or raspberry cultivars to different growing technologies in local agro-climatic conditions.

Tasks of the project:
•    evaluation of strawberry cultivars for growing in plastic greenhouses; 
•    evaluation of strawberry cultivars for growing in high tunnels; 
•    evaluation of strawberry cultivars for growing in intensive growing system on open field; 
•    evaluation of raspberry cultivars for growing in organic farming conditions on open field; 
•    evaluation of raspberry cultivars for growing in integrated production conditions on open field; 
•    evaluation of raspberry cultivars for growing in high tunnels;
•    organisation of open to public Field days in every demonstration object and conclusion seminar.

Farms and organizations involved in the demonstration: "Migl Dārzi" IM, "Lepšas" Ltd, "Lubeco" Ltd, "Berry Tours" Ltd, "Staķi" Ltd, "Skoru Dārzi" Ltd, Latvian Orchardman Association.
