Dalija Seglina receives the award "Laiks Ziedonim 2018" in the category of economy " The Earth I Learn”

Ing., Head of Unit and Leading Researcher of Food Processing Technologies and Development of New Products.
On the evening of May 3, the closing event of the award "Laiks Ziedonim" organized by the Foundation “Viegli” took place in concert hall “Great Amber” (Lielais Dzintars), Liepaja. The aim of the event is to annually reward those personalities who, with their excellence, passion, inspiration, posture and peculiarities inspired better Latvia. This year, the event "Laiks Ziedonim" was already held for the fifth year, the prominent Latvian people were honored in five categories: regional studies, economics, literature, science and work with children and young people. In the economic category "The Earth I Learn", Dalija Seglina was nominated and received the award for her contribution in food processing technology researches in Institute of Horticulture.
