In the middle of September 2020, the ATLAS first open call of project closed

The 87 eligible proposals were received representing 21 country as well as Latvia. The next step is evaluation of the proposals. The open call winners will be announced by the 10th of November – proposals that will receive funding to implement their solutions into the ATLAS network.

In the scope of Horizon 2020 project Agricultural Interoperability and Analysis System (ATLAS) five Innovation Hub placed in farms of Latvia. They have sensor systems collecting environment data useful for decision support systems related to plant protection, as well as providing data of total evapotranspiration to manage irrigation, provide alarm on spring frosts etc.

The survey on the digitalisation of agriculture in future in horticulture in Latvia is performed. It should give impression about attitude of farmers to remote sensing, mobile devices, IoT, Interoperability etc. as well. Up to end of activity the survey available here
