Introducing of high technologies in vegetable production in the modern greenhouses

Purpose of the demonstration:

Practically demonstrate, introduce farmers to the introduction of high technology in vegetable growing in modern greenhouses - modernization of efficient and economical lighting in greenhouses by introduction of electronic Na lamps.

Demonstration tasks:

• During the demonstration (in all circuits over a period of 5 years), compare the effects of current electromagnetic lamp illumination and new electronic lamp illumination on the development and productivity of cucumber plants.
• Organize a field day once a year to introduce interested people to the impact of new lamps on cucumber productivity, development and resource efficiency.
• Farms and organizations involved in the demonstration: SIA "Marupes siltumnicas" (Marupes county), association "Latvijas Dārznieks".
